The singer and dancer, who is about to turn 51, shows a toned and perfect body, without any failure. The result of intense and constant training but also a well-groomed and nimble diet.
The sensational fitness of Jennifer Lopez, 51 years old on July 24, is the result not only of mother nature but also of a lot of training and above all of a hyper-controlled diet. There is no shortage of moments when the star indulges in some brunch based on fried eggs, pancakes, jams, and bacon, but in almost all of her meals, she follows a rigid and without rudeness regime.
Do you want to test yourself and understand if you would be able to keep it, took over long distances? Here, from breakfast to dinner, everything that passes on her table.
Very similar to the diet followed by Meghan Markle, Jennifer Lopez prefers a smoothie rich in protein or oatmeal for breakfast, made more substantial thanks to seeds and berries. According to the People magazine, its ideal breakfast smoothie is made up of strawberries, blueberries, Greek yogurt, cinnamon, honey, and protein powder, to keep your muscles efficient.
The star is also a huge fan of the classic glass of water and lemon to start the day and continues to stay hydrated by drinking a minimum of seven glasses every day, as explained by her trainer Dodd Romero to Us Weekly in 2019. But not you will never see a coffee to wake up in the morning: the singer carefully avoids caffeine.
Her trainer, Tracy Anderson, keeps Jennifer on a tight diet. “You have to eat very cleanly because you need healthy fuel for all the activities you do during the day,” she wrote on her website.
Every food is organic and the menu is much studied: it is rich in high-quality proteins and a lot of nutritious and fresh foods. There are so many salads that J-Lo loves to taste and often together with her boyfriend and future husband Alex Rodriguez. The favorite ingredients of the performer for its colorful salads are cabbage, toasted pumpkin seeds, crumbled cheese (feta type), and shallots, all seasoned with a drizzle of olive oil.
After giving birth to her two children, Max and Emme (pictured below, before and after pregnancy), J-Lo followed a vegan diet to lose weight. “After the pregnancy was over, I found myself with eight to ten kilos too much,” the star told Extra magazine.
After the vegan parenthesis, Lopez gradually added chicken breast, beef with herbs, salmon and sea bass, to increase her protein intake.
Healthy meals also continue at dinner time, when she puts herself in the kitchen and dedicates herself to a vegetarian menu, which is also highly appreciated by her children.
“We eat a lot of green vegetables, such as asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and cabbage,” he said. “I love cooking Puerto Rican food because that’s what I grew up with.” So, go ahead also to more complex dishes; such as pork chops, white rice, beans and vegetables, foods loved by her family.
